Recently, she checked off an item from her bucket list, thanks to a program run at her retirement home, Waltonwood Twelve Oaks, in Novi.

She raced around the Michigan International Speedway in a Ferrari at the speed of 150 MPH, proving that age is just a number when it comes to chasing one’s dreams.
In her younger days, Maddox once sped her Lincoln to 115 MPH. Always on the lookout for adventure activities, she once climbed the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee and explored the caves there.
In search of her next adventure, she had always dreamed of driving a Ferrari or a Bugatti in her home state. In fulfilling her need for speed, she has inspired countless others.
Her daredevilry and adventurous spirit show that dreams can be pursued at any age, and age is no deterrent.
Basma Jirjis, the life enrichment manager at Waltonwood Twelve Oaks, was with her the entire time, sharing her joy and excitement in a YouTube video.
Jirjis clarified in the video, that it is his goal to bring joy and fulfillment to the lives of the retirement home’s residents by helping them enrich their lives and make their dreams a reality.
When Maddox was asked the secret to her enthusiasm, she jokingly revealed that her mother had told her she came into the world running.
‘If you’re alive, then live’ has been her constant mantra, and she swears by it.
Maddox is truly an inspiration, and her energy shows that dreams can come true at any age; all one needs is a child-like enthusiasm.
