In the video, he admitted he was drunk and explained that he had a difficult life because he felt ugly and insecure, especially since other YouTube videos featured regular and attractive men.
He also added, “My entire life, I have been treated quite badly. I feel really alone, and I felt like searching YouTube for people with the same issue as me – being really unattractive.”
He went on to list all the physical characteristics he believed were ugly. The video was watched over 23 million times, and many people related to his rant.
With all the sadness and negativity, many users commented with encouraging words, however, one comment changed his life forever.
A user, Juli.Romina.M commented on this video, “I actually think you’re kinda cute, tbh. I mean it.”
This positive comment changed the lives of both of them, as they connected on Discord.
The couple quickly became good friends and soon fell in love, with Juliana flying to Sweden a year later.
His subscribers rejoiced when they got married, and now, years later, the happy couple is expecting a baby.
In a recent YouTube video, the couple revealed that they are expecting a baby girl, whom they plan to name Stella.
Juliana still remembers the first comment she made on the channel, that transformed their lives and said, ‘Funny how destiny works.’
The homepage of the YouTube channel ‘Never Give Up’ features the message, ‘I love my wonderful Juliana’ in the bio.
Physical beauty is only skin deep, and the right person will see beyond looks, proving that beauty lies in the eye of the beholder.
